Síbio Porto Reserva Ruby is a Portuguese fortified wine in the Ruby Reserva style from the Douro appellation, produced by Real Companhia Velha from fruit grown at Quinta do Síbio. The 0.05 l bottle contains 20% alcohol.

Real Companhia Velha is one of the oldest wine companies in Portugal. The company was founded on 10 September 1756 by royal privilege of King D. José I, under the auspices of his prime minister Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, Count of Oeiras and Marquis of Pombal. Since 1960, Real Companhia Velha has belonged to and been managed by the Silva Reis family. Quinta do Síbio is located in the Cima Corgo subregion, considered by specialists to be the noblest area of the Douro. This red port is made from parcels planted at Quinta das Carvalhas, Aciprestes and Síbio.

The Síbio line is a blend of the region's traditional grape varieties. The wine is made from Touriga nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta barroca. In the Ruby style, the alcoholic fermentation of the must, with contact with the skins, is halted by the addition of grape spirit, followed by aging in oak vats. In the case of the Reserva version, the selection of grapes is more rigorous, allowing the wine to be designated as a higher-quality Ruby.

A port in the Ruby Reserva style retains the deep, intense colour and fruity character of a young wine. The profile is led by notes of ripe red fruits, complemented by herbal accents, while on the palate the wine is sweet, round and harmonious. This is a port ready to drink, without the need for further aging. It is served at around 16°C and pairs well with sweet desserts as well as mature and hard cheeses.
