La Dominique to 29-hektarowa, cudownie położona na północny zachód od miasta Saint Emilion i granicząca z apelacją Pomerol. Wino jest typową dla apelacji kompozycją bazującą na Merlot i uzupełnioną Cabernet Sauvignon i Cabernet Franc. Dojrzewa przez 16 miesięcy (90% w beczkach i 10% w glinianych amforach). Jest eleganckie, z pełnym, owocowym bukietem. W smaku gładkie, finezyjne, z satynową taniną. Idealne do cięlęciny, pieczonej jagnięciny, pieczonego kurczaka, a także do dań kuchni azjatyckiej i tuńczyka.
