Portuguese wines Parras Wines – new products in our offer
Our portfolio has been joined by wines from Portuguese producer Parras Wines – eight labels from three lines, from fresh everyday wines to more mature wines from the Dão region. Below we present the producer and all the wines that have been added to our offer.

Discover Parras Wines

Parras Wines is a Portuguese wine producer based in Alcobaça. The company was established in 2010 as Parras Vinhos, founded by Luís Vieira. In 2016, it underwent rebranding to Parras Wines – the name change was driven by the desire to better align with the international market and a modern image.

The group operates in several wine regions of Portugal – including Douro, Vinho Verde, Dão, Tejo, Lisboa and Alentejo – combining its own vineyards with collaboration with local producers. The entire production process, from vine cultivation to harvest, remains under the company's supervision, which is committed to preserving the character of the terroir and the standards of traditional winemaking.

Parras Ruelas – fresh everyday wines

The Ruelas line consists of wines with a simple, fruity profile, produced in stainless steel while preserving freshness. Two of them can be found in our range.

Parras Ruelas Blanc – a white wine from a blend of arinto and fernão pires varieties, originating from vineyards with a temperate climate and a distinct Atlantic influence. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats preserves the freshness and aromatic character of the wine. It has a lemon colour, a fresh, fruity nose, and good acidity in the mouth with a harmonious, pleasant finish.

Parras Ruelas Tinto – a blend of three varieties: touriga nacional, tinta roriz and castelão, fermented on skins at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. A wine with a ruby colour and a distinctly fruity aroma with notes of red forest fruits. Balanced in the mouth, with a long finish.

Quinta do Gradil – wines from the Lisboa region

Quinta do Gradil is a wine estate located in the Lisboa region. Our range includes three wines bearing its name – one white and two red.

Quinta do Gradil Sauvignon Blanc & Arinto – a blend in equal proportions of sauvignon blanc and arinto, fermented in stainless steel. Aromatic, with mineral notes and stone fruits. Well-balanced in the mouth – distinct, fresh acidity combines with the wine's structure.

Quinta do Gradil Syrah – a wine made entirely from the syrah variety. Three weeks of maceration with gentle stirring brings out the character of the variety without excessive tannin extraction; after fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures in French oak barrels. The bouquet offers fruits – blackberries and forest fruits – with a subtle meaty note typical of syrah. Full in the mouth, with pronounced yet elegant tannins and a juicy, long finish. Pairs well with red meat in mustard or pepper sauce and with mature, spicy cheeses.

Quinta do Gradil Tannat & Touriga Nacional – a blend in equal proportions of tannat and touriga nacional. After fermentation in stainless steel, 70% of the wine matured in French oak barrels. A bouquet with high aromatic intensity. Balanced in the mouth – touriga nacional softens the strong, tannic character of tannat.

Parras Evidencia – wines from the Dão region

The Evidencia line consists of wines from the Dão region, a mountainous area in central Portugal, valued for the freshness and acidity of its wines. Our range includes three labels: one white and two red.

Parras Evidência Dão Tinto – a blend of three varieties: tinta roriz, touriga nacional and alicante bouschet, from vineyards with a Mediterranean-continental climate. Vinification by fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. A wine with distinct blackberry aromas and fruity-spicy notes. Fresh in the mouth, with pronounced yet smooth tannins that emphasize its structure and harmony.

Parras Evidência Encruzado Dão Reserva – a wine made entirely from the encruzado variety, originating from the Dão region. The region is surrounded by mountain ranges, including Serra da Estrela – the highest range in continental Portugal; 75% of its area lies at an altitude of 400–700 metres above sea level, which gives the wines exceptional freshness and distinct acidity. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures in French oak barrels. The bouquet offers aromas of apples and citrus with delicate toasty and herbal notes. Full and rich in the mouth, with lively acidity that gives a long finish and ageing potential.

Parras Evidência Touriga Nacional Dão Reserva – a wine made one hundred percent from the touriga nacional variety, characteristic of the Dão region. After fermentation in stainless steel, it matured for six months in French oak barrels. Complex on the nose – notes of forest fruit jam, spices and flowers. Velvety and dense in the mouth, with a long finish.

All eight Parras Wines are now available in our range.
