Steep terraces carved into granite slopes, vines lashed by the gusting Mistral, and syrah in its purest, most expressive form – we warmly invite you to another tasting, this time devoted to the wines of the Northern Rhône Valley. This is a small wine region, yet at the same time one of the most important places on the world's wine map: the kingdom of syrah and of the white viognier that so often accompanies it, known above all from the Condrieu appellation, but also serving as a co-fermented partner to the aforementioned syrah. The conditions here are downright extreme, and it is precisely from this harshness that the unique character of these wines is born. We will taste wines from such appellations as the famous Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage and Cornas – it is here that this red grape variety finds its finest expression. During the tasting we have something special in store for you, and of course we have prepared carefully selected pairings for each of the wines.
