Wild Fields Original Single Malt Polish Whisky is a Polish single malt from the distillery in Jasienica in the Podbeskidzie region, bottled at 46.5% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. Wild Fields Original Single Malt is a Polish whisky produced by the Mundivie company from Polish barley malt, distilled in small batches at a single distillery in Jasienica.

The whisky was created with the involvement of a Scottish expert. It is a very rare and original Single Malt Polish Whisky, created in collaboration with the world-renowned Scotch Whisky Master Distiller and Master Blender John McDougall. From the very beginning of the Wild Fields project, McDougall was responsible for the selection of casks, the flavour composition and the maturation period; previously he worked as managing director and master blender at Balvenie, Laphroaig, Tormore and Springbank, among others.

The sole raw material is Polish malt, and distillation is carried out using the batch method. The whisky is batch distilled in copper pot stills at the distillery in Podbeskidzie, and then matures for over 3 years in medium-toasted, 225-litre first-fill casks made of Polish oak. The spirit is non-chill filtered and free of caramel colouring.

In the glass it displays a golden colour derived solely from contact with the wood. The colour is golden, the nose complex, multi-grain, delicately fresh, with a pleasant level of oiliness; the palate is delicately dry, bitter and sweet at once, with great fullness and a distinct influence of barley, while the finish is described as good. This is a spirit of golden colour in which we find a delicate freshness and pronounced graininess, while on the palate it is full, oily and complex, with a perceptible grain influence.
