Szkocka whisky single malt Balvenie Carribean Cask przez 14 lat dojrzewa w tradycyjnych dębowych beczkach, a następnie „finiszuje" w beczkach po karaibskim rumie. Aby stworzyć idealny finisz, Malt Master David Stewart, wypełnia amerykańskie dębowe beczki własnoręcznie wybraną mieszanką rumów. Gdy oceni, że beczki są już gotowe, miejsce rumu zastępuje 14 letnia whisky Balvenie, by nabrać aromatycznych nut smakowych. Rezultatem jest wyjątkowa whisky single malt o charakterze tradycyjnej, delikatnej i miodowej The Balvenie, połączona z nutami toffi i odrobiną owoców.
