Nemiroff De Luxe is a premium Ukrainian vodka from the distillery in Nemyriv in Podillia, produced from "Lux" class spirit and bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from grain spirit derived 100% from wheat and crystal-clear artesian water. The water comes from the brand's own artesian wells, which translates into the purity and softness of its profile.
The brand originates from the town of Nemyriv in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. Nemiroff's production plant and bottling facility are located in its home town of Nemyriv in the Vinnytsia region. The first mention of horilka from Nemyriv dates back to 1752, and from 1872 the local distillery grew into a centre renowned throughout Europe – as one of the first plants to produce vodka from grain instead of potatoes. The Premium De Luxe line itself was presented by the company in 2016 as a refreshed premium series.
The character of this vodka is determined by multi-stage filtration. Nemiroff De Luxe undergoes an 11-step filtration process; instead of simply passing through charcoal, it combines modern technologies, including silver and mineral filters, which remove impurities without compromising the natural flavour. While The Originals line goes through 9 filtration stages, Nemiroff De Luxe has two additional stages, described as silver and platinum filtration.
The linden blossom motif recurs throughout its sensory profile. The vodka has a coherent flavour profile with a light aroma of linden flowers on the opening, creating a delicate, floral start. On the palate it is soft and full, with notes of mint and juniper that slowly move into a delicate, fresh finish. Gentle mineral tones are perceptible, along with good neutrality and a hint of pepper and citrus peel.
The producer recommends serving it chilled, neat, with a few ice cubes, and also as a cocktail base, in which its multidimensional profile reveals itself in combination with other ingredients. In bar practice it works well in such drinks as a Dry Martini, Vodka Tonic, White Russian or Moscow Mule.
