Dubliner Whiskey Liqueur is an Irish whiskey-based liqueur, produced in Dublin at 30% ABV, built around a combination of whiskey with honeycomb and caramel. It brings together three flavours in a single liqueur – honeycomb, caramel and genuine Irish whiskey – and was created by Master Distiller John Drennan.
The brand hails from the Dublin Liberties Distillery in the Liberties district (D8). It is made at The Dublin Liberties Distillery, located in the heart of D8, capturing the character of Dublin. The base is the brand's own whiskey: Dubliner Irish Whiskey, a carefully crafted blend of grain whiskey, combined with notes of honeycomb and caramel, with the whiskey maturing in ex-bourbon casks, which yields a silky, mellow honeyed sweetness with a hint of peppery spice.
The aroma and flavour profile is dominated by sweetness balanced by the warmth of the whiskey. On the nose, honeycomb, sugary toffee, vanilla and cream soda; on the palate, honey and caramel with a delicate vanilla spice; the finish is sweet, long and exceptionally silky. A complex, full-bodied liqueur with notes of floral honey, sugary toffee, milk chocolate, caramel, clean grain, subtle spice and vanilla.
