Muller Thurgau zwany też Rivaner jest drugą najważniejszą odmianą w Niemczech. Bardzo zbliżony w charakterystyce do Rieslinga, chociaż nieco prostszy i bez finezji. Po zakończonej fermentacji wino dojrzewało kilka miesięcy w kadziach stalowych. Kolor jest słomkowy, a nos aromatyczny. Dominuje zapach gruszek, złocistych jabłek, brzoskwiń ananasa i gałki muszkatołowej. W ustach dominuje posmak owoców egzotycznych i świetna równowaga pomiędzy kwasowością a słodyczą z mineralnym zakończeniem. Polecane w upalne dni na tarasie, do grillowanego pstrąga albo leszcza, kotleta schabowego z sałatką ziemniaczaną, pieczonych warzyw z hummusem, papryki faszerowanej ryżem z mięsem oraz do dań kuchni arabskiej.
