Château Haut Montizeau to 12 hektarowa winnica położona w miejscowości Berson i obsadzona tradycyjnymi dla Bordeaux odmianami, w większości Merlot, z której to wino jest stworzone w 100%. Po fermentacji alkoholowej dojrzewało w cementowych kadziach. Ma głęboki, rubinowy kolor z fioletowymi refleksami. Bukiet jest elegancki, z subtelnymi niuansami czerwonych i czarnych owoców. W smaku krągłe, delikarne i soczyste, z trwałym, owocowym finiszem. Dobrze komponuje się z grillowanymi lub pieczonymi czerwonymi mięsami, ale także z umiarkowanie mocnymi serami.
