Wino jest kompozycją gron szczepów Sangioveto (90%), Canaiolo i Ciliegiolo, pochodzących z bardzo starych, ponad 30-sto letnich krzewów. Winifikacja odbywa się w stalowych tankach, następnie wino dojrzewa przez 12-18 miesięcy w beczkach z dębiny (20% nowych) oraz kolejny rok w butelce. Powstaje niepowtarzalne, eleganckie wino najwyższej jakości, ukazujące wspaniały potencjał Sangiovese - najsłynniejszego toskańskiego szczepu. Piękna, rubinowa barwa. Aromat fiołków i wiśni z mineralnym tłem. W ustach cudownie ułożone, z ładnie zaznaczoną owocowością i wspaniałym finiszem.
