Podstawą tego wina jest oczywiście Sangiovese (80%) uzupełnione Merlot (15%) oraz Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). Kompozycja dojrzewała przez 16 miesięcy w beczkach o różnej pojemności, a następnie 3-6 miesięcy w butelce. Intensywnie rubinowy czerwony kolor. W nosie delikatne i eleganckie z pikantnymi nutami dzikich jagód, wiśni i akcentem wanilii. Na podniebieniu słodkie i harmonijne taniny w doskonałej równowadze z kwasowością. Długi finisz z przyjemnymi tonami anyżku.
