Pochodzi z ręcznych zbiorów winogron szczepu Nebbiolo rosnących w winnicy Margheria, w regionie Serralunga d`Alba. To głęboko rubinowe wino, poddane zostaje fermentacji i maceracji w temperaturze 31- 33°C przez 15-20 dni, a następnie leżakuje w dębowych beczkach przez 30 miesięcy. Po tym okresie spędza jeszcze rok dojrzewając w butelkach. Bardzo „eteryczne”, delikatnie pikantne z wyczuwalnymi nutami tytoniu i leśnego poszycia. W smaku bardzo harmonijne. Ma doskonały potencjał starzenia. Przed spożyciem należy je zdekantować i podawać w temperaturze 18-20°C. Najlepiej smakuje z pieczonym, czerwonym mięsem i gulaszem. Równie doskonałe połączenie daje w zestawieniu ze średnio dojrzałymi i dojrzałymi serami.
