In the first half of April, we organized tastings in nine salons, during which we hosted 150 people. These meetings took us on a journey through the wine regions of Europe and South America. In three salons, tastings of Sicilian wines from Tenute Orestiadi took place. We showcased the richness of this producer's wines: from fresh whites made from grillo and zibibbo, to deep reds from nero d'avola and perricone. Meanwhile, at M&P Ostroroga, we explored a different region of Italy – South Tyrol. Erste+Neue wines showed how the cool climate and alpine altitude build the character of elegant whites from sauvignon blanc and riesling varieties, as well as reds from pinot nero and the local lagrein. At M&P Piaseczno and M&P Białystok Transportowa, we presented wines from the Nekeas cooperative from northern Navarre. We moved from crisp whites to intense reds from old vines. Twice we ventured to the other hemisphere. At M&P Kowalczyka, we tasted wines from Zuccardi – an Argentine producer from Mendoza, known primarily for malbec. Meanwhile, at M&P Wilanów Klimczaka, we focused on Chile – on Tabali wines from the cool Limarí Valley, where the proximity of the Pacific gives the wines distinctive minerality and freshness. Completely different was the meeting at M&P Gdynia Mściwoja. We conducted a blind tasting there. We served bottles with covered labels, revealing them and discussing the wines only after the tasting.
