No other country has such a long and uninterrupted winemaking tradition as Georgia. And no other production method represents it better than qvevri – clay amphorae buried in the ground, in which wine has fermented and matured for thousands of years. This technique is now inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage list, and wines made using it have a completely different, unique character. This evening, glasses will feature wines from three Georgian producers: Kankatela, Vazisubani Estate and Georgian Legend.
