Tokaj-Hegyalja is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine regions in Europe, famous for the Furmint variety and the legendary sweet Tokaji Aszú wines. The Slovenian region of Brda lies on the border with Italy. Kristančič therefore produces wines in a place where Mediterranean climate influences meet Alpine coolness. This evening, the glass will feature wines from both producers: Pannon Tokaj from the heart of Hungarian Tokaj and Kristančič from Brda.
