DIONYSOS GREEK

The Dionysos company was founded in Athens in 1936 by Asimakis Koutsouros and Stelios Gikas and is one of the largest wine producers in Greece. The Dionysos vineyards primarily use indigenous grape varieties such as Roditis, Savatiano, Moschofilero and Agiorgitiko, but they are also happy to work with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Muscat. Dionysos partners with two Greek estates which, full of passion and vision, have a qualified team of oenologists, an experienced production staff, excellent logistics infrastructure and a professional sales and marketing department, thanks to which they can look to the future with confidence.

The majority of the vineyards are located in the north-eastern part of the Peloponnese, not far from Corinth. It is here that the Mediterranean climate from the south meets the continental winds from the north, creating perfect conditions for growing vines. Dionysos' main aim is to promote Greek wines, both at home and abroad. The wines are distributed in more than 40 countries around the world. Through commitment and hard work, the wines have won the recognition of consumers and are frequently awarded at international competitions.
