Our range now includes the Etsu Japanese Gin line. These are five craft gins from Japan, produced by two distilleries: Asahikawa in Hokkaido and Akita in Honshu. The division between two distilleries alone speaks volumes. Each works differently and you can taste it in the glass. At Asahikawa, botanicals are macerated for 22 hours and go into distillation together with the alcohol – a method that, according to the producer, gives greater strength and character. At Akita, maceration lasts up to seven days, but the botanicals are removed before distillation, which gives the gins greater finesse and elegance. What you'll find in our range: Etsu The Original – yuzu, juniper, angelica, bitter orange. Fresh and citrusy, with a silky finish. Global Gin Masters Master 2025. Etsu Pacific Ocean Water – created using water drawn from the depths of the Pacific. Mineral, with a hint of iodine and sea breeze. Global Gin Masters Master 2022. Etsu Double Yuzu – Japanese yuzu in the starring role. Vibrant and refreshing, from spicy crispness to elegant sweetness. Etsu Double Orange – bitter Japanese orange. Aromatic and full of sunshine. Etsu Sakura – inspired by hanami, the tradition of admiring cherry blossoms. Floral, delicate, balanced.
