Rodrigo Ameijde's Visit – Three Events, Nearly 200 People

In recent days, we hosted Rodrigo Ameijde, a winery representative, thanks to whom nearly 200 people had the opportunity to learn more about the Rueda region and the winery, and above all, to taste these exceptional wines with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. Masterclass tastings at the Whisky & Cognac Club and at the M&P salon on Kowalczyka Street, as well as staff training at the Marina salon, revealed the undisputed favorite from the winery's portfolio.

Portfolio Favorites: Mantel Blanco Verdejo and Mantel Sauvignon Blanc

Mantel Blanco Verdejo is a smooth and round wine that, thanks to four months of aging on lees, has gained depth and a slightly oily structure, while losing none of its fruitiness. For me personally, ex aequo at the top of the lineup is also Mantel Sauvignon Blanc, which, in keeping with the varietal's characteristics, delights with its freshness and beautifully preserved acidity. Both of these wines are versatile, ideal for pairing with food, but also brilliant for drinking "solo".

Alvarez y Diez Wines for Summer

Generally, I highly value all the wines from this producer; more basic releases like Monte Alina, Silga or Bento will be excellent as an aperitif or will brighten up the hot days of the approaching summer, and if someone is looking for something very layered and complex, then Mantel Fermentado in Barrica, with its nine months of barrel aging, will be the perfect choice. Summer is approaching with great strides, so remember that verdejo is a wonderful companion and an excellent choice for this time.
