Republica Reserva Dark is a dark Caribbean-style rum, introduced to the Polish market by Stock Polska as part of the new Republica brand. Stock Polska launched the Republica brand, available in two flavour variants – Reserva White and Reserva Dark. It is a spirit bottled at 38% ABV in a 0.7-litre format, with the classic, approachable character of a dark rum.

At the heart of the bottle lies a blend of Caribbean distillates. This rum is created as a marriage of Caribbean distillates, combining rums from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Barbados. The spirit is the fruit of the artisanal tradition of sugar cane distillation, with its individual components sourced from regions regarded as the cradle of the category. The rum matures in oak casks, and its style focuses on the classic, dark sweetness of molasses, vanilla and cocoa.

In the glass it presents a dark amber colour with coppery reflections. It boasts a dark amber hue with copper tones, the nose reveals sweet, woody-smoky aromas of oak and cinnamon, and the palate is smooth and velvety. The profile combines molasses sweetness with notes of vanilla and cocoa, creating a rum that is approachable yet full of character, with a distinct accent of Caribbean tradition.

It is best enjoyed neat or over ice, and also works perfectly as a base for tiki-style cocktails or classic rum-based long drinks. It pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate, espresso and caramel- or toffee-based desserts. It is worth noting that Republica Reserva Dark rum was awarded a silver medal at the London Spirits Competition Awards.
