Belvedere Organic Dirty Brew is a flavoured coffee vodka from Poland, created by combining a Belvedere Organic Vodka base with the pronounced flavour of robusta coffee. It is bottled at 30% ABV, marrying the Belvedere Organic Vodka base with the bold taste of robusta coffee, known for its roasted, peanut-like aroma and earthy, bittersweet character. The brand describes it as a ready-to-pour spirit, intended for drinking neat or in simple coffee cocktails.
The base is Belvedere vodka, produced in Żyrardów at Poland's longest continuously operating distillery, founded in 1910. Belvedere Organic Vodka is made from 100% organic rye, and the brand's Master Rye Distillers draw on 600 years of Polish vodka-making tradition. The spirit is created exclusively from Polish Dankowskie rye and quadruple distilled, remaining entirely free of additives, including sugar and glycerine, while dilution with purified water from Belvedere's own artesian wells allows the character of the rye to shine through. The Dirty Brew version is additionally flavoured. It is certified USDA Organic and EU Organic, prepared with natural robusta coffee flavouring.
The name refers to the "dirty coffee" technique. It alludes to the method of adding a shot of espresso, which darkens the drink. In the glass, the spirit has a dark hue. Belvedere Dirty Brew presents a dark appearance with rich toffee tones accompanied by warm russet undertones.
Coffee and chocolate dominate the aroma and flavour profile. There is a rich taste of roasted coffee beans with notes of toffee, fresh espresso with tones of silky dark chocolate, all closing with a soft, velvety crescendo accented by rye spiciness. The spirit has a velvety, thick texture.
It is versatile when it comes to serving. It can be enjoyed over ice for a pure coffee experience or shaken with ice for an instant Espresso Martini, and it also works well poured over vanilla ice cream as an Affogato. The producer is Moët Hennessy, and the vodka is made in Poland.
