Pravda is a premium-class Polish rye vodka from the Bielsko-Biała region at the foot of the Carpathians, presented in a set with two frosted glasses. It is bottled at 40% ABV, and this version comes in a 0.7-litre format complemented by a pair of matt glasses intended for serving the chilled spirit.

Rye is the foundation. The producer states that the distillate is obtained from late-harvest Polish rye, which gives a mellower profile. Pravda is distilled from Polish rye, put through five column distillations and then transferred to a copper pot still for a final distillation, using water from Carpathian springs that has undergone gentle filtration. The vodka itself is filtered through charcoal made from French birch.

The sensory profile is dominated by purity and a grainy core. Pravda has a very clean aroma, resulting from the use of Carpathian spring water and high-quality grain, while on the palate a delicately spicy note develops. Our editorial tasting notes also mention spice characteristics – longer contact with air releases additional aromas of black pepper and cardamom. On the palate, the entry shows the grainy sharpness of rye and a flash of spirituous warmth, while in the mid-palate the vodka reveals an oily texture and character.

The frosted glasses included in the set underline the way of serving typical of this category – chilled and neat. The vodka itself also works well as a cocktail base. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
